Description: Japanese 20th Century YOSHIDA MINORI hibiscus design vase. The gold hibiscus design is done over a purple porcelain base and covered with a clear enamel and fired again. Made by master artist, YOSHIDA MINORI, Japanese National Treasure. YOSHIDA MINORI was born in 1932, was selected for his work with the YURI KINSAI technique of gold leaf or gold pigment underglaze style of design. Signature of artist on base MINORI. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist's signature box. The vase measures 10 3/4" diameter by 4 3/4" height. (kadene)
