Description: Japanese late 20th century (1993) lacquer and acrylic box by famous lacquer artist SUZUKI MASAYA. SUZUKI MASAYA is part of the Tokyo and Kyoto Modern Art Museums, the Victoria and Albert in the U.K. and the Johnson Collection in the U.S. His art name is HYOUSAKU and he is the 3rd generation to carry that name. The box comes with TOMOBAKO or original artist signed wooden storage box. The box measures 5 5/8" tall by 6 3/4" in width and 5 7/8" in depth. (denesu) 03232012
