Name: JAPANESE LATE 20TH CENTURY CERAMIC WALL PLAQUE BY SAEKI MORIYOSHI

Description: Japanese late 20th century, actually dated 1991, ceramic wall plaque by master ceramic artist, SAEKI MORIYOSHI. Born in 1949, SAEKI lives and works in the Mashiko area of Tochigi Prefecture in Japan. He also presently teaches at the prestigious Tokyo School of Fine Arts. The plaque comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The plaque measures 16" wide, 8 3/4" tall and 1 1/2" thick. (dorusu)
