Description: Japanese Meiji Period iron dish by KOMAI with gold and silver inlaid design. Done in extremely fine detail. The top is done in inlaid gold and silver design of florals and landscape within fan shaped frame and outer done in geometric design in silver inlays. The bottom has KYOTO SUMI KOMAI SEI, or MADE BY KOMAI OF KYOTO in gold inlays within silver frame. The dish measures 1/2" tall, 4" wide and 3 1/8" depth. (nenesu)
