Description: Japanese 20th century iron KORO incense burner by iron specialist metal artist TSUKIO SOUICHI (1915 - 1992). TSUKIO SOUICHI was most active in the 1970's and until his death in 1992. The Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art has 6 works of art by this artist in its collection. The incense burner is in simple shape with liner and lid. The burner measure 4 1/4" tall and 6" in diameter. It comes with TOMOBAKO or original artist signed wooden storage box. Signed on bottom. (irasu)
