Description: Japanese mid 20th century (1953) lacquer box with hawk and wave design by YOSHIDA JUNICHIRO. An exhibition piece for the 1953 NITTEN Ehibition. Come with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box and TOMOGIRE or original wrapping cloth with artist chop mark. The box measures 10" long, 5 1/8" wide and 3 3/4" tall. (denesu)
