Description: Japanese Late 20th Century (1992) seiji 青磁 (celadon porcelain) okimono 置物 (objet d'art) from the series titled "Freeze Flame" by Kato Tsubusa 加藤委 (born 1962). The beautifully sculpted piece is partially glazed and partially unglazed bisque porcelain. An edition of the Japanese ceramics publication Toh 陶 was dedicated to this line "Freeze Flame" and includes this piece.

Comes with tomobako 共箱 (original artist signed wooden storage box) with description on lid: FREEZE FLAME 1992.

Signature on piece: Incised maker's mark

Signature on box lid: Kato Tsubusa (with artist's red seal)
