Description: Japanese late 20th to early 21st century black lacquer vase by lacquer artist OGURA GENGO. A graduate of Tokyo School of Fine Arts, he taught at Toyama University and also helped with the foundation of AOI Museum in Takaoka City, Japan. The vase comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 27" long, 9" tall and 6 1/2" deep.
