Description: Japanese 20th century large porcelain vase by FUJII SHUMEI. The large bulbous form is decorated in a beautiful design that has been cut into the mid-section of the vase and painted with underglaze cobalt blue in a wave-like design. Signed SHUMEI on bottom. FUJII SHUMEI is a famous porcelain artist who exhibits at the prestigious annual NITTEN show in Japan. The vase measures 11 1/2" tall and has a 8 1/2" diameter. (kanesu)
