Description: Japanese 19th century gold and black lacquer water pitcher with lid. The water pitcher has the design of bamboo, pine and other flowers and grasses done in a variety of lacquering techniques, such as TAKAMAKIE, HIRAMAKIE and NASHIJI. The pitcher measures 7 1/2" tall, 12" wide by 7" diameter. (dorasu)
