Description: Japanese Meiji Period iron box with gold inlaid design of ivy leaves. Done in extremely fine detail. The top and sides all have inlaid ivy leaves. The box has a hinged lid and the box sits on four feet. Stamp of artist, KOMAI on bottom base. The box measures 2" tall, 5 3/8" wide and 3 5/8" deep. (karasu)
