Description: Japanese Early 20th Century large ceramic SAKE bottle. The large bottle has the name AZUMA SAKETEN or AZUMA SAKE shop written on the bottle with other character written on the sides. The beige colored slip has dark brown glaze used for the characters. Some of the dark brown slip areas have been chipped off with time. These large containers were used by the restaurants and bars of the time and returned to the SAKE suppliers for refills. The large bottle measures 13" in height and 7" in diameter.
