Description: Japanese Edo Period AKAGANE, or red bronze puppy design OKIMONO. The OKIMONO is in the shape of a pair of puppies. The hair of the puppies has been realistically finely incised into the bronze. The OKIMONO measures 7 3/4" wide, 4 3/4" tall and 3 3/8" deep. No signature. (kunesu)
