Description: Japanese 20-21st century Kutani vase by artist Nakata Kazuo. Nakata Kazuo studied under Living National Treasure artist, Tokuda Yasokichi III. He is known for using designs created with strips of silver leaf. He remains active in Ishikawa Prefecture. His works are on display at the Smithsonian Sackler Museum and the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum, to name a few. This vase measures 9 5/6" tall by 4 3/4" in diameter. Comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed custom wooden storage box. (kanesu)
