Welcome!

Welcome to the website of the Oriental Treasure Box. This outstanding online gallery of Japanese arts brings its extensive collection to the internet. Mr. Kuwabara, the owner, travels to Japan to collect the finest articles for your pleasure.

Mr. Kuwabara specializes in a wide assortment of fine Japanese traditional & modern crafts by the best contemporary artists, including Living National Treasure artists. Traditional arts such as lacquer boxes and figures, woodblock prints, screen and scrolls, ceramic, pottery and porcelain bowls, vases and figures, cloisonne enamel vases, netsuke, inro, okimono and a variety of combs and pins. He also carries Japanese swords and fine metal works of art. His traditional Japanese collection includes bamboo baskets, Japanese furniture, textiles (kimono and obi) and dolls. The collection of contemporary Japanese fine arts includes bronze vases and figures, lacquer boxes and ceramic & porcelain vases.

Please enjoy browsing through our collection and feel free to contact us for further details on any item that catches your particular interest. And be sure to check our show schedule to see if we will be exhibiting at an Asian art show near you.
