Japanese mid 20th century bamboo flower basket. The basket is of vase form with tall handle made of natural bamboo stalk with 2 small stalks of bamboo gracefully wrapping around it. The basket is woven with medium and fine strips of bamboo. Unsigned. The basket measures 17 1/2" tall, 9" wide and 7 1/2" in diameter. The base of the basket is a rounded square shape with 4 feet. (dorusu) |
