Description: Japanese Early 20th Century 6-panel byōbu 屏風 (folding screen). Hand painted with design of shirasagi 白鷺 (white herons) in a winter riperian scene of snow covered trees, red tsubaki 椿 (camellias) and the red berries of nanten 南天 (nandina or heavenly bamboo plant), on a gold leaf background. Mounted with floral silk border and wood frame.

Unsigned.
