| Description: |
Japanese early 20th century cotton HAMAGI, or beach jacket. The wonderful jacket is done in hand-dyed and hand-woven cotton fabrics made from blue and white threads. The heavier woven fabric is trimmed in a thinner cotton fabric and the sleeve and side inserts are also done in a thinner cotton fabric with extra SASHIKO sewn support. The HAMAGI measures 47" from sleeve end to sleeve end, 25 1/2" from underarm to underarm. The sleeves taper from the armpit to the arm cuffs. The HAMAGI measures 37" long. (dorasu) |
