Description: |
Japanese 20th century ROGIN (silver and copper) vase by metal artist, HASUDA SHUGORO (b.1915 - ). The tall slender vase is entitled "One Voice". The 4-sided vase has a base of 4 uneven sides (1 3/4" by 1 11/16" by 1 3/4" by 1 13/16"). Each of the 4 vertical edges are also uneven (11 3/8", 11 7/16", 11 11/16", 11 3/4"), with a small bulge coming out toward the top of the 2 longest edges, giving the vase a very interesting and unique appearance. The vase also has the design of straight lines etched into the vase toward the lower part of the piece. SHUGORO is etched into the bottom of the vase. The vase measures roughly 11 3/4" tall by 1 3/4" wide. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. (nodene) |
