Japanese 21st century thickly glazed Shino ware teabowl by master artist HAYASHI SHOTARO. An exhibition piece from 2004. He entitled this piece ENBU, or "Dancing Flames". A member of the prestigious DENTOKOGEIKAI for years, Hayashi has exhibited at major exhibitions throughout Japan. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box and TOMOGIRE, artist stamped wrapping cloth. The teabowl measures 3 3/4" tall, 5 1/4" wide and 5" deep. (inesu) |
