Japanese late 20th to early 21st century porcelain vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan in 1933. He passes away in August, 2009. The vase is done in a large round shape with small spout top. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 9 1/8" tall and is 8 1/2" in diameter. (inesu) |
