Description: |
Japanese 20th century porcelain vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. The vase is done in a simple globular form with tall narrow spout. The overall glaze is a dark eggplant color with bluish green coloration on the top of the globular form. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 8 1/8" tall and is 4 1/2" wide. (rukasu)
