Name: Japanese Early 20th Century Bronze Okimono of Two Puppies by Takahashi Ryoun

Description: Japanese Early 20th Century cast and chased bronze two-piece okimono of two puppies. By artist Takahashi Ryoun, who was active circa 1900-1935.

The laying puppy is chewing on a stem of bamboo leaves, while the seated puppy looks on, as it waiting for his turn to get hold of the stem.

The dimensions are:
Seated puppy - Height 5 7/8" x Width 4" x Depth 6 1/2"
Laying puppy - Height 3" x Width 5" x Length 7"

Comes with awasebako 合わせ箱 (matched wooden storage box).
