Description: |
Japanese Early 20th Century pure silver bowl in the shape of a large sake cup. The bowl has the design of good luck crane and tortoise, along with the three friends, pine, bamboo and plum tree. There is some gilding detailing added to the design. The bottom has the mark JUNGIN, or pure silver. On the inside of the bowl is the artist signature, SHUNPOU. The bowl measures 12" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall. (kunesu) |
