Description: Japanese Late Edo to Early Meiji Period Takeda doll. The doll looks like the Kabuki character, Ishikawa Goemon. The doll has GOFUN (powder made from oyster shells) head and hands, painted eyes, cloth and paper clothing, armor and weapons. Great facial and body expression. The doll measures 9" tall and 8" wide. The stand measures 7 1/2" wide, 1 1/2" tall and 5 5/8" deep.
