Japanese 20th century vase by Japan Living National Treasure, Tokuda Yasokichi III, born Tokuda Masahiko in Komatsu, Japan. Vase is of simple round form with thin, narrow neck and wide edged rim top. Tokuda Yasokichi III became Living National Treasure in 1997 and is recognized for work with Saiyu, glaze color gradation technique. Comes with TOMOBAKO, original artist signed wooden storage box. The vase measures 10 1/2" tall and is 5 1/2" wide. The top measures 2 1/4" across in diameter. |
