Name: JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD KINKOZAN SATSUMA VASE

Description: Japanese MEIJI Period KINKOZAN SATSUMA vase. The vase has horizontal bands of designs. The lip is done in a leaf pattern, the next band is a geometric pattern, next is a wide floral pattern, another gold geometric pattern, next a wide band with an assortment of fish and shellfish beautifully rendered in fine detail, next another gold geometric pattern, next another band of the floral pattern, another gold geometric pattern and finally a geometric pattern around the foot. The vase is signed "DAI NIPPON KYOTO KINKOZAN ZO", made by KINKOZAN in Kyoto, Japan. The artist signature is also written but is illegible. The vase measures 3 3/4" tall by 3 1/2" in diameter.
