Japanese 20th century red and black lacquer circular tray by master lacquer artist, REN BUTSU. The front of the tray is done is beautiful red lacquer and the sides and bottom are done in black lacquer. The tray is actually a reproduction of a famous tray from the period. The tray is entitled, HINOMARU tray. The tray comes with TOMOBAKO, or original artist signed wooden storage box. The tray measures 16 5/8" in diameter and 3/4" tall. |
